I’m two months pregnant and I want to continue getting in shape like I was doing before I got pregnant. I’m trying eating healthier and more regularly but I would like to know about helpful tips, healthy recipes, or exercises I can do. Note: I am a fatty so it is not unhealthy for me to lose weight if properly done in fact it would lower chances of health complications for me and the child during pregnancy and in the long run.
1. Don’t lose weight.I’m serious. No matter how overweight you are, losing the weight now is not an option. Losing weight will release toxins that were stored in your blood, and go straight to your baby. So in fct losing weight now will INCREASE chances of health complications for your baby. What is recommended for pregnant women, is to try to GAIN LESS weight than a normal weight woman would. That is all. Never try to LOSE weight while pregnant.
Hun u can’t loss weight while pregnant ….or when ever u go for a oltra sound ask ur doctor but she or he will tell u just walk nd eat healthy but don’t stave ur self or u will harm da baby
I was just reading up about this a while ago because I was wondering how much weight I should be gaining since I have GD. Any way, it doesn’t matter if you’re a fatty or not, losing weight during a pregnancy isn’t recommended for various reasons. Even if you are a fatty, you’re expected to gain a certain amount of weight depending on your height and weight before pregnancy. The least amount of weight gain I saw was 15lbs for overweight people.
I’ve hardly gained anything at all even though I am 21 wks. I’ve gained about 2lbs only. I think it’s because I have GD so I am eating healthier. I am pretty much on a low carb diet. I measure anything that has a lot of carbs. I am supposed to exercise after my meals but I am too lazy to do that. The exercise is supposed to help my body use up some of the carb that I just ate or something like that. It seems to work when I do exercise though…I can tell by my blood sugar levels which I have to check every 2hrs after a large meal. If you want, you can always meet with a nutritionist to design a meal plan for you.
